Public Enemies
In the past few weeks, I have been working a lot. And for the most part its been working out. But I feel lost at times. Not quite satisfied with what I am doing. I have been trying real hard to get back to the Capital and intern there again. But honestly, I have felt that I should use my talent as a public speaker to "publicize" my abilities. Still, I am fighting my demons at night. I thought they would be gone when I would get my new place but they are still there. I am really happy so why are they still here?

Delivery is everything
Writing is an exploration. You start from nothing and learn as you go.

Without being able to express your view, you become hollow. You begin to lose your soul and you wither away. Writing has become a salvation, for me. It has become become my groundbreaking moment in my self discovery process. It is not something that is taught. You can be taught how to write better but after that it become your own roller coaster. You learn as you go.

A Toast to Making it Work
After a full week of being at the Executive Writers, I have discovered that people have a little patience and high demands. Its scary that people don't realize that there are actually other people in the world who ask the same exact thing.
Our guest speaker on Friday gave us a raw and honest opinion of politics and "the folks who live on hill." He said that many of them have huge egos and large salaries. Instead, they let these things go to their heads and forget about the people. They only remember around election time their promises.
Its been a rough and long week. Working for "the man" is difficult. I am not complaining because this is what I enjoy doing. Politics and writing is my forte. I do wish I could work on public policy but my time for that will come.
This an interesting article in regards to a revolution era: The spirit of '68 is reawakening

A fine line
Its been a wonderful adventure within the political arena this week. I have arrived at the Governors Office -- Executive Writers; this little building only 5 minutes from the "the big house." It seems only like yesterday that I was dreaming of actually socializing with the big wigs and walking through the historic halls. Now, harnessed with a new energy and determination I am the "voice of the Governor."
I have always said that getting in is the only issue. Well, now that I am in I begin to realize that I only way of staying in is networking.
Advice from the top
Always dress two steps above what you are supposed to wear
Always market yourselves
Delve into unknown areas, things that you are uncomfortable with
Note to self
There can always be somebody else who can do the job better than you. Prove to them that you are it.
