A Toast to Making it Work

After a full week of being at the Executive Writers, I have discovered that people have a little patience and high demands. Its scary that people don't realize that there are actually other people in the world who ask the same exact thing.

Our guest speaker on Friday gave us a raw and honest opinion of politics and "the folks who live on hill." He said that many of them have huge egos and large salaries. Instead, they let these things go to their heads and forget about the people. They only remember around election time their promises.

Its been a rough and long week. Working for "the man" is difficult. I am not complaining because this is what I enjoy doing. Politics and writing is my forte. I do wish I could work on public policy but my time for that will come.

This an interesting article in regards to a revolution era: The spirit of '68 is reawakening

Peace
